Western Pacific Odyssey Part I

We started our journey in Auckland NZ on the MV Enderby which is a Ice strengthened Russian research vessel built in 1982 and leased by Heritage Expeditions. Heritage runs mainly birding tours to such places as the Ross Sea down in Antarctica, Macquarie Island and the islands in between. This trip was for 33 days and we hoped to visit Norfolk Island, New Caledonia, Solomon Islands, Caroline Islands, Bonin Islands...
